PHEBA — Peggy Winfield, 80, died June 25, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Winfield was born Aug. 23, 1944, in West Point, to the late Herbert Ray and Lottie Oleta Fondren Compton. She was formerly employed in the parts department at Mitchell Automotive and was a member of Peba Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Winfield, and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Johnson of Mathiston, David Ray Winfield of Pheba and Adam Lance Winfield of Cedar Bluff; sister, Judy Cartee of Cedar Bluff; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Michael Johnson, Scott Johnson, Lance Winfield, Jason Cartee and Dustin CArtee.
