VERNON, Ala. — Peggy Jean Elliott, 84, died July 15, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Fellowship Baptist Church, with Robbie Bradford and Jackob Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitanotin will be from two hours prior to services at the church. 

Mrs. Elliott was born Dec. 17, 1940, in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Kermit and Faye Robertson. She was formerly employed as a medical transcriptionist and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her son, Gary Elliott of Vernon;brother, David Robertson of Vernon; sister, Jo Ann Robinson of Amory; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Trevor Elliott, Micah Elliott, Jason Robinson, Cody Bennett, Josh Yerby, Robby Robertson, Heath Elliott and Jared Robertson.
