WEST POINT — Peggy Brand Davis, 82, died Sept. 28, 2025, at Waverly Care Home in West Point. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at Calvert Funeral Home, with Glen Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Montpelier. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Davis was born May 19, 1943, in McCondy, to the late Shelton and Mildred Brand. She was a graduate of Houston High School and Mississippi State University. She was formerly employed as an educator. She was a member of First Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Davis; sister, Martha Williams; and two brothers, John and Bert Brand. 

She is survived by her husband, Grady Davis; daughter, Amy Davis Sonnier of Bay St. Louis; son, Chris Davis of Hattiesburg; and seven grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Chris Davis, Mark Davis, Aubrey Phillips, Brad Davis, Parker Daavis, Steele Davis, Victor Suggs and Shane Scott.
