ABERDEEN — Paula Thompson, 61, died June 15, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Una at a later date. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thompson was born on Sept. 24, 1961, in West Point, to Paul and Sue Bridger Wilson. She was formerly employed at Sprint Mart and Murphy USA. 

She is survived by her husband, Tim Thompson of the Strong Community; parents, Paul and Sue Wilson of Columbus; sons, Christopher Coggins of Sturgis, Joseph Wilson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Walker Thompson of Strong; step-children, Leslie Burks of Trebloc, Colby Thompson of Gainesville, Georgia, and Patrick Thompson of Hamilton; brother, Eddie Wilson of Una; and five grandchildren.
