COLUMBUS — Odie Lee “Buddy” Guin Jr., 81, died Nov. 18, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. 

There will be no services at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Guin was born June 2, 1944, in Columbus, to the late Odie Lee Guin Sr. and Annie Guin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Jean Guin. 

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Brewer and Darlene Hill; five grandchildren; eight grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
