NOXUBEE COUNTY — Odester Thomas Williams, 76, died April 7, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Sardis M.B. Church cemetery in Macon, with Algene Strickland officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Monday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Williams was born June 2, 1949, in Noxubee County, to the late Garfield and Angie Thomas. She was a member of Sardis M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Williams; children, Lisa and Michael Thomas; and siblings, Mary Brewer, Bessie Williams, Linda Spencer, Minnie Lee Pope, Archie Lee Thomas, Hattie B. Jackson and Mattie B. Garner. 

She is survived by her children, April Howard of Aliceville, Alabama, Dennis Thomas of Japan and Leroy Thomas of Macon; siblings, Louise Thomas and Lenora Bantum, both of Aliceville, Rosie Humphrey of Chicago, Illinois, and Earnestine Steen of Macon; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
