NORTHPORT, Ala.  — Nora Beard Sullivan, 87, died Nov. 12, 2025.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Sullivan was born to the late Frank and Ella Mae Bresnahan. She was formerly employed at Black Warrior Methane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Micharl Beard; and sisters, Mary Clemmons and Dora Faye McDaniel.

She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Whitten, Sharon Barr and Lisa Turner; son, Steve Beard; brothers, Tony Bresnahan and Ed Bresnahan; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Frank Turner, Jack Turner, Connor Patton, David Barker, Rhett Barr and Tyler Barr.
