STARKVILLE — Nell Denise Davis, 67, died July 2, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mt. Olivet M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon – 6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Davis; mother, Dollie Hogan Harris; son, Troylanda Hogan of Auburn, Georgia; brothers, John Metric Hogan of Tupelo, William Larry Gillespie and William Troy Hogan, both of Starkville; and six grandchildren.
