MCMULLEN, Ala. — Naomi “Shugg” Washington, 62, died Aug. 11, 2025, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at New Canaan Baptist Church in Aliceville, with the Rev. T. Windham officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bethany Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-6 p.m. Friday at Lavender’s Funeral Service. Lavender’s Funeral Service of Aliceville is in charge of arrangements.
