TUPELO — Montayo P. Richardson, 45, died July 12, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Richardson was born Feb. 18, 1980, to Leo Jefferies and Janice Richardson. He attended New Hope High School and was formerly employed at Capital Bedding. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Valemerita Richardson; and siblings, Denver Richardson, Kimeko Bradford and Antjwan Richardson.
