INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Monica Butler, 40, died July 6, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Providence MB Church with the Rev. Gilbert Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Stallions Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus. Ms. Butler was born in Columbus on Sept. 4, 1974, to Daton Butler and Peggy Williams Butler. She was a member of Eastern Star Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by step-mother, Classie Butler; sisters, Marla Butler of Indianapolis, Vicky Turner and Jevonka Smith, both of Columbus, Lakesha Butler of Saltillo, Alina Butler of Starkville, Rhonda Ancrum of Killeen, Texas; and brother, Frederick Butler of Houston. Pallbearers are Charles C. Butler, Chandler Butler, Dionne Butler, Malcolm Pope, Lafayette Stephenson and Justin Turner.
