LOWNDES COUNTY — Mereno Van Hubbard Jr., 38, died Jan.25, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at St. Paul U.M. Church, with Marcus Hyde officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hubbard was born July 12, 1987, in Noxubee County, to Mereno Van Hubbard Sr. and Tracy Hill. He was formerly employed with Rock Bottom Furniture.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Victor Hill of Phoenix, Arizona, Kristopher Hill of Macon, and Freddie Hill II of Red Bay, Alabama.

Pallbearers are Victor Hill, Freddy Hill II, Keon Mason, Kristopher Hill, Laron Daniels and Earnest Harmon Jr.
