SULLIGENT, Ala. — Melinda Ann Allen, 57, died April 4, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with B.J. Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Palmer Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Allen was born Sept. 15, 1968, in Vernon, to the late Robert Leon Gann and Judy Lynn Kell. She was a 1987 graduate of Sulligent High School and was formerly employed with McCoy Manufacturing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Gann and Jason Gan.

She is survived by her daughter, Casey Dawn Allen of Beaverton; and brother, Robert Gann of Bremen.

Pallbearers are Tony Kell, Tony Smith, Devan Elkins, Bailey Gann, Paul Kell, Dole Duncan, Micheal Kell and Doug Duke.
