PRAIRIE — Mary Amstutz Schrock, 93, died June 14, 2026.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with John Bauer officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday and  one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schrock was born Jan. 21, 1933, in Bay Minette, Alabama, to the late Christian and Elizabeth Amstutz. She was a member of Old Aberdeen Road Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, A.A. Schrock; son, Robert Schrock; siblings, Levi Amstutz, Ephraim Amstutz, Nancy Amstutz, Mae Amstutz, Priscilla Amstutz and Polly Amstutz; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Blackford of Prairie, Amos Schrock of Iuka, Gene Schrock of Florence, and Mary Beth Boren of Mantachie; seven step-children; siblings, Joe Amstutz of New York, Reuben Amstutz and Isaac Amstutz, both of Tutwiler, Susan Rickett of Montana, Esther Amstutz of Florida, and Ruth Trotter of South Carolina; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Aron Blackford, Will Blackford, Christian Schrock, Brandon Schrock, Riley Blackford, Luke Boren and Daniel Blackford.
