VERNON, Ala. — Mary Nell Langley, 90, died May 3, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Joe Beckon officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Langley was born March 24, 1946, in Lamar County, to the late Woods and Lola Sorrells Crawford. She was a 1954 graduate of Sulligent High School and was formerly employed as a shipping and payroll clerk with McCoy Manufacturing and as a private care nurse with the Red Cross.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, BIlly Crawford, Shirley Millican and JoAnn Crawford.

Pallbearers are Quintin Crawford, Wesley Crawford, Hunter Wood, Daniel Traywick, Jacob Traywick, Bradley Vining, Joe Traywick, Brandon Crawford and John Knox.
