STARKVILLE — Mary Ethel Townsend Harrell, 88, died Oct. 8, 2025, in Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lindsey Chapel U.M. Church. Burial will follow at Lindsey Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Johnson and Mattie “Tina” Harrell; and three grandchildren.
