MILLPORT, Ala. — Mary Laughmiller Davis, 92, died July 7, 2025.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Millport City Cemetery. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Falkville, to the late Malcolm and Freddie Mae Laughmiller. She was a 1950 graduate of Falkville High School and was formerly employed in the Account Department at Monsanto in Decatur and served as a volunteer with Sav-a-Life in Tuscaloosa and Isaiah 58 Ministry in Wetumpka. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ruper Davis; and sisters, Etha Mae Garner, Evelyn Helms and Martha Byrd.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Johnson and Greg Davis; brother, David Laughmiller; and three grandchildren.
