ABERDEEN — Mary Ann Rowell Crosby, 70, died Dec. 30, 2009, at the Care Center of Aberdeen. Services are Friday at 10 a.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lounez Scrivner officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Crosby was born April 18, 1939, to James Kelcy Rowell and Mary Edna Clark Rowell in Smithville. She was a lifelong resident of Aberdeen and a member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Reed Crosby, and son, Jerry Lynn Crosby She is survived by her daughters, Reeda Barnes and Deborah Wendler, both of Aberdeen; son, Thomas Crosby, of Aberdeen; sister, Martha Jean Morrison, of Pontotoc; brothers, Ken Rowell, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Darrell Rowell, of Birmingham, Ala., and William Temple, of Jackson; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Wayne Parish, Jimmy Williams, Wayne Dew, David Wendler, Jimmy Spruill and Jerry Spruill.
