COLUMBUS — Mary Alice Bush, 73, died July 17, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fourth Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Harrison Grove Cemetery in Brooksville. Visitation is from noon-5 p.m. Friday at Hairston and Hairston Funeral Home. Hairston and Hairston Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bush was born Aug. 30, 1951, in Columbus, to the late Nathaniel Washington and Callie Dora. She was formerly employed as a custodian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Spencer and Nineh Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, Issac Bush Jr.; daughters, Keshia Davis, Tasha Bush and Shamik Anthony; siblings, Bessie Pointer, Mary Tate, Earlie Shelton and Johnnie Dora; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
