COLUMBUS — Marquette Antonio “Mane Mane” Summerville, 46, died July 21, 2025, in Starkville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, at Trinity Mt. Carmel C.M.E. Church, with the Rev. Al Lathan officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Summerville was born Aug. 16, 1978, in Columbus, to Mary Summerville Smith and the late Cleveland “Clete” Smith Sr. He was a 1997 graduate of New Hope High School and attended East Mississippi Community College. He was formerly employed in the HVAC field with Air Control and as an HVAC specialist with Weathers Refrigeration.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cleveland “Redd” Smith Jr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Easha Summerville of Columbus; children, Ashley Summerville; stepchildren, Damion McCoy, Johnathan Dickerson and Ayonna Erby; and siblings, Mesha Sanders and Sharina Smith.
Pallbearers will be Willie Bouldes Jr., Brian Jordan, Monzell Smith, Chris Jones, Marreo Smith, Hosie Erby and Octavian Holt.
