MACON — Marlin Ray Campbell, 64, died May 1, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, at Macon Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Payne Chapel Cemetery in Millport, Alabama. Visitation will be from two hours prior to services at the church. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Campbell was born July 22, 1961, in Kirbyville, Texas, to Geraldine Rogers Campbell and the late J.L. Campbell. He was formerly employed in logging. He was a member of Macon Pentecostal Church. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Wayne Campbell; and brother, Gary Franklin Campbell. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Tanya Blackledge, Tabatha Lott, Angie Campbell and Alisha Zismann; and sisters, Lisa Campbell and Darla Campbell. 

Pallbearers will be Doug Blackledge, Bradley Zismann, Dylan Blackledge, Drake Blackledge, Brandon Clark, Brock Clark, Logan Campbell, Barrett Zismann and Brendan Sudduth.
