STEENS — Mark H. Floyd, 62, died July 8, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rowan Cemetery Chapel in Caledonia. Visitation is from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at Lowndes Funeral Home. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Floyd was born Aug. 5, 1962, in Columbus, to the late Henry A. Floyd and Wanda Hopkins Floyd. He was formerly employed with Marathon Equipment Company and WasteQuip Industries and was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Floyd; and brother, Keith Floyd.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Wiggins, Michael Dodson, Jordan Britt, Jerry Dennis, Scott Fleming, Chip Jordan, Tony Shelton and Bob Fleming.
