KENNEDY, Ala. — Margaret “Maggie” Hodges, 80, died April 13, 2026.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Dowdle Funeral Home, with Jeff Long officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home chapel. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hodges was born March 11, 1946, in Kennedy, to the late Gray and Effie Trull.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Renee Steelmon and Jimmy Agerton; and siblings, Banks Trull, Bob Trull, Grafton Trull and Ethel Vann.

She is survived by her sons, Phillip Hodges of Kennedy and Donny Weaver of Florence; brother, Bill Trull of Kennedy; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Phillip Hodges, Rusty Weathers, Justin Bowen, Conner Phelps, Triton Sanford and Phillip Hodges II.
