MADISON — Marcus Paul Walrath, 55, died May 14, 2026.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Welch Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Welch Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Walrath was born Aug. 6, 1970, in New York, to Jean Walrath Ferguson and the late Douglas Paul Walrath. He was formerly employed as an Uber driver. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Rebecca Smith; sons, Jeffrey Walrath, Joshua Walrath and Jordan Walrath; and brother, Christopher Walrath.
