BEAVERTON, Ala. — Marcus Cantrell, 64, died March 19, 2025, at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, Alabama. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at Otts Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent, Alabama, is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Cantrell was born March 29, 1960, in Guin, Alabama, to the late William Olin Cantrell and Edral Mae Carrouth Cantrell. He was a graduate of Sulligent High school and was formerly employed working on and painting tractors. He attended Union Chapel Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Douglas Cantrell and Gary Cantrell. 

He is survived by his brothers, Byron Cantrell of Beaverton and Cegoff Cantrell of Vernon.
