CALEDONIA – Maia Victoria Murray, 28, died March 14, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at New Zion M.B. Church, with the Rev. John Wicks Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Wicks Memorial Garden. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Ms. Murray was born June 3, 1997, in Amory, to Willie Murray Jr. and Sharon G.Wicks Murray. She was a graduate of West Lowndes High School and was formerly employed at Lisa Christian Learning Center. She was a member of New Zion M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Willie James Murray Jr. and Rebecca Harris of Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Pallbearers will be Clay Jones, Robert Smith, Elanthus Wicks, Christopher Phillips, Adolph Pillips and Herman Phillips.
