STARKVILLE — Madge “MeeMaw” Cromeans Shaw died Nov. 7, 2017. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Mrs. Shaw was born Oct. 17, 1921, to the late Claude and Eva Cromeans. She graduated from Blue Mountain College and was previously employed as a teacher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnette Shaw Jr.; brothers, Battle, Bill and Joe; and sister, Janlou Wilson. She is survived by her son, James Arnette Shaw III of Jackson and Jane Tackett of Starkville; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
