COLUMBUS — Lynn Jones, 58, died July 9, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at 15th Street Church of God in Christ. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jones was born Dec. 4, 1966, in Columbus, to the late George Jones and Sylvia Harris. He was formerly employed as a painter.

He is survived by his wife, Latoya Coleman of DeKalb; children, Tori Boyd of Gulfport, James Gray of Atlanta, Georgia, Chy-Lyn Coleman, My-Aiza Jones, Zia-Tora Coleman, Heaven Coleman and Jaquan Coleman, all of DeKalb; siblings, Richard Lucas of Enterprise, Alabama, Tamesha Jones of Huntsville, George Harris, James Harris, Deborah A. Hughes and Shemere Jones-Mixon, all of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
