NOXUBEE COUNTY — Lorenzo Lashawn Rupert, 62, died Nov. 3, 2025, in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Spring Hill M.B. Church in Macon, with Montreal Rucker officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rupert was born Feb. 21, 1963, in Noxubee County, to the late Walter B. King and Bettie Lou Rupert. He was a 1983 graduate of Noxubee County High School.

He is survived by his children, Laquacious Rupert of Starkville and Rollando Rupert of Texas; siblings, Linda Faye Rupert and Sandra Rupert, both of Macon; and five grandchildren.
