NOXUBEE COUNTY — London Dewayne Rupert, 35, died Feb. 5, 2023, in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at New Jerusalem Church in Shuqualak, with Leroy Horne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rupert was born Jan. 11, 1988, in Noxubee County, to Billy Pope and Betty Malone. He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by children, Terrance Boyd and Khloe’ Taylor, both of Macon and Paris Jones of Monroe, Louisiana; fiancee, Kimberly Taylor of Macon; and siblings, Jessica Rupert, Brenda Pope and Tyrone Pope, all of Macon, Harvey Rupert of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Reggie Rupert of Chicago, Illinois.

Pallbearers are Johnny Dora, Daniel Spann, Reggie Gillespie, Corey McCloud, Michael Dora and Douglas King.
