NOXUBEE COUNTY — Lillie Buress Moore, 69, died Dec. 7, 2025, in Brooksville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Mt. Ary M.B. Church in Brooksville, with Brodie Rice officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Moore was born March 7, 1956, in Noxubee County, to the late Worothy D. Earby and Nettie M. Stewart. She was a member of New Hope M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Willie Earby, William Earby, Evon Earby and Lillie Earby.

She is survived by her husband, John Moore of Brooksville; children, Shylanda Neal of Loganville, Georgia, and Leon Buress of Brooksville; brother, Dee E. Earby of Louisville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jeffrey Taylor, Kavendrick Lockett, Ray Gibbs, Jockey Oliver, Rufus Hubbard, Kenneth Anderson, Melvin Beck and Darren Paige.
