TOPEKA, Kan. — Lillie Apriliyne Fox Ford, 87, died May 13, 2026, in Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Bigbee alley C.M.E. Church in Brooksville, with Montreal Rucker officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ford was born Nov. 30, 1938, to the late Gilbert Fox Sr. and Artis Reeves.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Andrew Gavin, Claude Gavin and Lorraine G. Nwakpoda-Wynn.

She is survived by her husband, Lenten E. Ford; children, Lum Gavin Jr., Michael Gavin, Arthur Gavin, Artis Thompkin, Joanne Gavin-Rucker and Barbara Gavin; and siblings, Claude and Jenny Fox.
