Levi Hatcher

NOXUBEE COUNTY — Levi “Lil Brother” Hatcher, 76, died Oct. 9, 2025, at Anderson Regency Hospital in Meridian.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Woodlawn C.M.E. Church, in Macon, with Vicki Gavin Tate officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hatcher was born May 5, 1949, in Louisiana, to the late Levi Charles Hatcher and Mary Hatcher. He was a member of Fellowship of Hope Community Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Hatcher; siblings, Donita Yvonne Hatcher, Nancy Elizabeth Hatcher, Maxine Hatcher, Louise Hatcher, Josephine Hatcher, Jase B. Hatcher and Charlie Lewis Hatcher.
He is survived by his children, Lavetta Hatcher of Macon, Christopher Hatcher of Meridian, Ayatti Hatcher of Jackson and Sylester Lewis of Ruston, Louisiana; siblings, Mary Lee Walker, Theresa Hatcher, Carolyn Oats, Sherman Hatcher, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Jenny Reed, Millicient Demps, both of Pensacola, Florida, and Robert Lee Hatcher of Indianapolis, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Rus, Kelvin Jackson, Walter Hare, Dirk Dickerson, Eddie B. Robinson Jr. and Edward Robinson.
