MACON — Virbleaner “Lena” Dixon, 94, died May 4, 2026, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Millers Chapel Baptist Church, with Nathaniel D. Houston Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Dixon was born Feb. 18, 1932, in Macon, to the late Willie and Ilessa Richardson Sr. She was formerly employed at Touch by Angel Daycare. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Dixon Sr.; sons, Floyd Richardson and Bernard Richardson; daughter, Norris Jean Richardson Brown Howlett; sister, Louise Richardson; and brother, Willie Richardson Jr. 

She is survived by her children, Ella Harmons, Deacon Willie Dixon Jr., Deacon Randy Dixon Sr., all of Macon. 

Pallbearers will be Detric Anderson, Coby Dixon, Kawn Dixon Sr., Kawn Dixon Sr., Randy Dixon Jr., Jarius King and Awatyn McCloud.
