ABERDEEN — Lee Hill Harrington, 100, died April 10, 2014, at Garden Suites Assisted Living in Aberdeen. Services are today at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Aberdeen with the Revs. Keith Williams, Roger Colins and York Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior at the church. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Harrington was born Jan. 23, 1914, in Woodland to the late L.T. Harrington and Rose Hill Harrington. He was a graduate of the Chillicothe Business School in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was formerly employed with Good Year Tire and Rubber Company and was a farmer. He served as the chairman of Aberdeen Separate School District Board of Trustees and served as a member of Monroe Banking and Trust Company Board of Directors. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Mae Whitaker Harrington; sisters, Elizabeth Lilley, Ruth Weaver and Mary Virginia Harrington; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Survivors include his daughter, Gwynne Lee Barrett of Aberdeen; son, Frank Harrington of Aberdeen; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Whit Harrington, Drew Mackenzie, Keith Mobley, Woody Craig, John Wise, Chip Henley and Trey Blue.
