WEST POINT — LC Brewer, 93, died June 8, 2026, in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday, at Union Star M.B. Church in West Point, with the Rev. Gregory Pegues officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brewer was born Feb. 28, 1933, in West Point, to the late Willie Lee Brewer and Julia Adams Brewer. He was formerly employed as a forklift driver with Babcock and Wilcox.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mason Brewer; and siblings, Thomas Nelson Brewer, Arthur James Brewer, Mariee Brewer Jones and Rosie Etta Brewer Harris.

He is survived by his children, Darryl Mason, Sharon Brewer Williams, Shawana Brewer Bynum and Joyce Gordon; siblings, Williams Henry Brewer, Cleotis Brewer and Patricia Ann Brewer; and one grandchild.
