KENNEDY, Ala. — LaVida Robin Nethercutt, 66, died Oct. 6, 2025, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, at Chandler Funeral Home, with Joe Beckon officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon, Alabama, is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Nethercutt was born Dec. 22, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Ray “Smokey” Trull and the late Mary Trull. She was formerly employed as the manager of the Columbus Air Force Base Commissary.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Terry Nethercutt; daughter, Amanda Maynord; son, Will Nethercutt; brothers, Mark Trull and Ray Trull; sisters, Lisa Trull, Vanessa Clay and Valarie Walker; and three grandchildren.  

Pallbearers will be Bryant Smith, Korlan Trull, Ethan Terrell, Jonas Freeman, Matt Gallop, Bobby Simmons, Jason Collier and Jalen Lowery.
