VERNON, Ala. — Lavelle Butler Patrick, 82, died Feb. 23, 2026, at Generations of Vernon. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Chandler Funeral Home, with Robbie Bradford officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Chandler Funeral Home of Vernon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Patrick was born Sept. 22, 1943, in Vernon, to the late Clatie Butler and Lou Stanford Butler. She was a graduate of Lamar County High School and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was p[receded in death by her brothers, Rollie Butler, Banks Butler and Glen Butler. 

She is survived by her sons, Todd Patrick and Toby Patrick, both of Vernon; brother, Hubert Butler; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Todd Patrick, Toby Patrick , Brandon Patrick, Blake Patrick and Jason Turner.
