COLUMBUS — Lasaundra Monique Cotton, 38, died June 9, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Shiloh Full Gospel M.B.Church, with Johnny Durrah officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Cotton was born Sept. 16, 1987, in Columbus, to Larry Allen Nance Jr. and Andrea Cotton. She was a graduate of Columbus High School and attended East Mississippi Community College and Bevil State Community College. She was formerly employed with the Magnolia Inn and the Bowing Alley at Columbus Air Force Base, Trinity Home Place, Vineyard Court, Walmart and in the home health care industry. She was a member of United Faith Inter-Denominational Ministries.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Jahmyah Jones and Pierre Beard Jr., both of Columbus; siblings, Danielle Cotton, Kemarrra Cotton, Shiquita Cotton, Terrance Cotton and Quinton Cotton, all of Columbus, and Larry Nance III of Starkville; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers are Willie Nance, Levert Nance, Ladarius Williams, William Nance, Chard Mixon and Myron Jennings.
