GUIN, Ala. — Larry Gene Miles, 66, died March 3, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Ala. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Kivett officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Willing Cemetery. Mr. Miles was born June 20, 1945, to the late Clarin and Luevadine Green Miles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James George Miles and Leon Miles; son, Tommy Lee Hawkins; and one great-grandson. Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Miles and Tony Miles, both of Guin, Kenny Hawkins and Larry Miles Jr., both of Beaverton, Ala.; daughters, Bobbie McKay of Vernon, Ala., Shelby Dunklin of St. Marys, Ga., and Sheri Oden of Beaverton; sisters, Lillie Boyette of Guin and Louise Roszell of Hamilton, Ala.; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Dillion Atkins, Haji Miles, Destin Miles, Kodey Hawkins, Jeremy Pace, John Franklin and Josh Hawkins.
