MILLPORT, Ala. — Larry Funderburk, 75, died Sept. 18, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Dowdle Funeral Home. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Funderburk was born Feb. 11, 1950, to the late Hardy and Mary Funderburk. He was a graduate of Millport High School and was formerly the owner and operator of Larry’s Plumbing. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Funderburk; and siblings, June Hooper, Joyce Funderburk, Billy Funderburk and Eddie Funderburk.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Funderburk; children, Kristie Funderburk and Tyler Smith; siblings, Carolyn Lowery, Rita Balchus and Darrell Funderburk; and one grandchild.
