SULLIGENT, Ala. — Kenneth Ray Pitts, 79, died March 18, 2026, at the State Veterans Home in Kosiusko.
Graveside services were at 4 p.m. Sunday, at Lamar Memory Gardens in Vernon, with the Rev. David Harrell officiating. Burial followed. Visitation was from 2:30-3:30 p.m. prior to services at Otts Funeral Home. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pitts was born Sept. 29, 1946, in Sulligent, to the late Troy Pitts and Lennis Landers Pitts. He was a 1965 graduate of Sulligent High School and was a veteran of the Army National Guard, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was formerly employed with North American Plastics in Prairie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Stanford Pitts; and brother, Gary Pitts.
He is survived by his son, Mitchell Pitts of Madison; sister, Mildred Perkins of Scottboro; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
