COLUMBUS — Kelvin Lamar Pounds, 48, died Sept. 22, 2025, in Elko, Nevada.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Tabernacle C.M.E. Church in Ethelsville. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pounds was born April 16, 1977, in Steens, to Eloise Butler and Johnny Pounds. He was formerly employed as a truck driver with Openway and was a member of Tabernacle C.M.E. Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Patricia Hill of Columbus.

Pallbearers are Tito Williams, Walter Bouldes, Anthony Bouldes, LaDon Bouldes, Edmund Chandler and Andre Coleman.
