WEST POINT — Kattie Mae Walker, 92, died Nov. 12, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Union Star M.B. Church, with the Rev. Gregory Pegues officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Saturday, at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Walker was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Leflore County, to the late Isom Redditt and Kattie Redditt. 

She is survived by her sons, Willie Walker and Leotis Walker, both of West Point; daughters, Georgia Robinson, Willie Robinson Givines, Frankie King, Lillie Roby, Doris Walker Brown and Lisa Coleman, all of West Point and Thelma Walker of Madison; step-son, James Walker of Chicago; step-daughters, Mary Boyd of West Point, Madge Walker and Inell Walker, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; 55 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
