WEST POINT — Kathleen Sanders Ray, 95, died Nov. 1, 2025, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at Calvert Funeral Home with James Towery officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Ray was born Oct. 17, 1930, near Parkin, Arkansas, to the late Clyde Boomie Sanders and Lucille Milton Sanders. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lee Ray Sr.; sons, Curtis Lee Ray Jr; sisters, Katherine Long and Evelyn Armstrong; and one grandchild. 

She is survived by her daughters Cathy Roye of Pontotoc; siblings, James Powell Sanders of Imboden, Arkansas, and Margaret Dunlap of Lufkin, Texas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Adam Ray, Phillip Roye, Noble Roye, Thomas Reed Roye and Charles Bilbo.
