COLUMBUS — Judith “Judy” Haggard Bolin, 83, died Jan. 13, 2026, at Trinity Place Retirement Community.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Brooksville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jay Spiller and Tyler Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services at the church. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bolin was born June 17, 1942, in the Ellison Ridge Community of Winston County, to the late Harvey and Maggie Lee Haggard. She was a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and was formerly employed as a postmaster with the United States Postal Service and as an accountant and bookkeeper with Hancock Hardware.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss Wayne Bolin Sr.; daughter, Rhonda; sisters, Carolyn Pugh, Katherine Haggard and Cindy Haggard; and one grandchild.
She is survived by her children, Printz Bolin of Oxford, Tammy Weber of Austin, Texas, and Jay Bolin of Ridgeland; siblings, Janie Baggett of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Donald Haggard of Parsons, Tennessee; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
