WEST POINT — Joyce Patterson Holcombe, 85, died Jan. 5, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Sunday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with James Towery officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Holcombe was born Nov. 10, 1940, in Winston County, to the late Allen and Eula Reed Paterson. She was formerly employed as co-owner and co-operator of the Jiffy Shop and Holcombe Self Service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of West Point.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edwin “Ed” Holcombe Sr.; and sister, Bonnie Tucker.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Holcombe, Marty Holcombe, Jeff Holcombe and Renee Holcombe Vernon, all of West Point.; sister, Jean Ledbetter; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Thad Holcombe, Ben Holcombe, Daniel Hunt, Walter Field, Colby Latham, Cameron Latham, Kris Sykes and Trey Allen.
