COLUMBUS — Johnny R. “Johnny C.” Lowe, 59, died Sept. 21, 2025, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, at Cedar Grove M.B. Church, with David Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lowe was born June 9, 1966, in Columbus, to Dorothy M. Lowe and the late N.C. Lowe. He attended Caledonia schools and was formerly employed at Parker’s Furniture and Goose Hollow Furniture.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lowe.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Lowe; children, Rodrigus Bush, Anthony Bush and Tamya Lowe, all of Columbus, Demarcus Lowe of Baldwyn, and Olivia Sterline of Tupelo; siblings, Curtis Lowe and Lakita Lowe, both of Columbus, Joanne Lowe of Vernon, Alabama, Tonita Lowe of Mobile, and Natalie Johnson of Crawford; and 18 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles B. Strickland Jr., Arthur Morris, Deondrey Alexander, Andre Quinn, Anthony Nelson and Carlos Maury.
