NOXUBEE COUNTY – John “Mick” Hull Jr., 76, died April 20, 2026, in DeKalb.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Harrison Grove Full Gospel Church in Shuqualak, with Marquis Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Slaughter Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hull was born April 1, 1950, in Noxubee County, to the late John Hull Sr. and Sue Lee Hull.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, W.L. Hull, Mary Prince and Mandy Hull.

He is survived by his sister, Elnora Hill of Shuqualak.

Pallbearers are Charles Hill Jr., Kenny Hill, Harvey Hill, Jimmy Hill, Ernie Simpson and Jeremy Simpson.
