STARKVILLE — John Henry Hendrix, 76, died May 26, 2026. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at True Vine M.B. Church. Burial will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. Friday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Hendrix is survived by his children, Earnest Clayborn of Columbus, Adam Hendrix of Dumas, Texas, John Hendrix Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, Cefforest Hendrix and Elizabeth Tunipseed, both of Starkville; 29 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
